Zahner CIMPS-QE/IPCE System
ZAHNER’s CIMPS-QE/IPCE system is a fully integrated and compact workstation for high-accuracy QE/IPCE measurements at the push of a button. Compared to competing products, setting up and running experiments with the CIMPS-QE/IPCE system is quick, easy, and does not require special knowledge or additional tools.
Key Features:
-
Easy-Mount Optical Bench
All optical components are pre-aligned on a compact, easy-to-mount optical bench for fast setup and repeatable positioning. -
Traceable Intensity Control
An integrated PTB-traceable optical detector provides closed-loop feedback control of light intensity, ensuring absolute accuracy without reference cells or manual realignment. -
Active Feedback Regulation
Exclusive CIMPS feedback control maintains constant light intensity independent of LED temperature or aging. -
Tunable LED Light Source (TLS03)
A patented, LED-based tunable light source with linear monochromator delivers high intensity, narrow spectral bandwidth, and fast modulation—without filters or mechanical choppers. -
No Warm-Up Time
LED technology eliminates long warm-up periods typical of xenon-lamp systems while dramatically improving energy efficiency. -
True Sine-Wave Modulation
Real sine-wave light modulation without harmonic distortion, outperforming chopper-based systems. -
Intelligent Wavelength Control
Multi-LED architecture delivers higher power at selected wavelengths than xenon-lamp systems, with optional white background illumination for DSSC and tandem solar cell studies. -
Wide Wavelength Coverage
Standard range: 365–1020 nm
Extended range: 295–1020 nm -
Integrated Electrochemistry
Full support for EIS, CV, polarization, and advanced electrochemical techniques. -
Highly Expandable
Optional modules support absorption/transmission, emission studies, fast intensity transients, and dynamic reflectance/transmittance. -
Flexible Sample Handling
PECC-1 and PECC-2 photo-electrochemical cells accommodate a wide range of sample types. -
User-Friendly Software
CIMPS-QE/IPCE software automates all components and reduces complex measurements to push-button operation.
