The Admiral Instruments team just wrapped an exciting week at the 43rd Annual International Battery Seminar & Exhibit (IBSE) in Orlando, Florida. With over 2,000 battery professionals from around the globe, the event provided the perfect stage to connect, share, and demonstrate our instruments in action.
Over the course of the conference, more than 100 visitors from the US, Japan, the UK, Germany, China, and beyond stopped by our booth to see the Squidstat Plus potentiostat and Squidstat Cycler - Base Model in action alongside our battery test fixtures. Attendees were treated to live demonstrations of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements and battery cycling, and many took the opportunity to ask questions and exchange insights.
Did You Miss Us at IBSE?
One of the most rewarding aspects of IBSE is seeing the excitement that live demos generate. Watching attendees interact with our instruments, ask thoughtful questions, and share insights reminded us why we do what we do.
If you missed us at IBSE, we hope to see you at a future conference. Check out our exhibition schedule using the link below to find out where the Admiral Instruments team will be next. Stop by our booth, we’d love to show you our instruments in action and even share a Squidstat Solvers Series Squid figurine with you!

Highlights from IBSE 2026
Reconnecting with users – A highlight was catching up with longtime Squidstat users. We heard about new battery projects, discussed challenges, and gathered feedback to improve our instruments and software.
Networking and social events – The Volta Foundation Battery Social was lively, offering a great space to meet new colleagues and strengthen relationships while discussing emerging battery technologies.
Hands-on demo at UCF – Our visit to the University of Central Florida engaged students and researchers with live Squidstat Plus demos, helping them better understand EIS and battery cycling.
Bridging experience levels – We connected with a wide range of attendees, from students to senior executives, fostering knowledge sharing and stronger community ties.
Orlando sunshine – Between sessions, we took a moment to enjoy Orlando’s beautiful weather. The sunny skies and warm atmosphere were the perfect complement to an energetic and inspiring week at the seminar.
Global engagement – Visitors from over a dozen countries stopped by our booth, giving us a chance to share our instruments with a truly international audience.
Live instrument demos – Demonstrating the Squidstat Plus potentiostat and Squidstat Cycler - Base Model in action was a major highlight. Attendees were able to see real-time EIS measurements, battery cycling, and data collection.
